Television
star Donna Mills will speak about her personal experience with arthritis on June
26 at HealthExpo at the San Diego County Fair.
Mills' appearance
is part of her work with the Boost Education of Arthritis Treatment
campaign launched in May 2000 by Pfizer to promote the importance
of arthritis management, including proper treatment.
Besides
encouraging women who have arthritis aches and pains to see their doctors, Mills,
60, will also discuss her personal experience with osteoarthritis, how managing
arthritis has allowed her to remain active and how women who suffer from arthritis
can make their health a priority and still balance their busy schedules. "By
sharing information, arthritis sufferers can empower one another to get effective
treatments that will help them stay active," said Mills, who is best known
for appearing in the long-running television serial Knots Landing. Other
